TOWNS TO VISIT ON THE COSTA DORADA:

· TARRAGONA
We start the route in Tarragona, visiting the Roman city, the amphitheater, the circus and the forum, World Heritage, and the cathedral. You can do it through one of the dramatized visits offered by the Tarraco Guide Bureau. Less common, but also highly recommended, is to do a caving itinerary in an urban cave, like the one organized by the Society for Speleological Research. If you do not want to move from the city, you can go to the port and embark on a sailboat to contemplate the sunset from the sea, with Cosas de Barcos

· MONTBLANC
Visiting the medieval city of Montblanc, in the company of one of the guides offered by the Town Hall, is an unbeatable way to start the day. Then we will go to the monastery of Vallbona de les Monges, where you can take a guided tour and even stay at the hostel. Without moving from Vallbona, you have two possible activities. In El Olivo, you can discover the process of making the typical oil of the area and taste it, or you can visit a stained glass workshop in Ahumada / Balcells glassmakers.

· SIURANA
Come to Siurana and you will discover a fairytale village that brings to the skin the memory of endless sieges and impossible conquests.
Encinglada in an impregnable place on the river, the knights of four counts were necessary to subdue it. His castle defended an impassable border that extended from the Balaguer neck in Tamarit de Gaià. Conquered in 1153, after the fall of Lleida and Tortosa, it was the last stronghold of the reconquest in Catalonia. If you look at the precipice that surrounds it, you will guess why it was not conquered for three centuries and why the end was so tragic.
Abdelazia, the Moorish queen, before being subjected to the Christians, preferred to fall off a cliff with her horse. And the animal, in his useless resistance, left the mark of his horseshoe forever marked on the rock. And with it the last Saracen stronghold of Catalonia disappeared.
Today, we can see a charming village of cobbled houses and streets and the remains of the Saracen fortress, located at the entrance of the town. At their feet, a reservoir with clean and calm waters • offers them the possibility of practicing all kinds of water sports.

· FALSET- MONT-ROIG DEL CAMP
In Falset, capital of the Priorat wine region, we will take a guided visit to the Castle of Wine, a museum dedicated to wine located in the old castle of the Counts of Prades. Bellmunt del Priorat offers us the Museum of Mines, which includes a plant from the Eugenia mine, where lead was obtained years ago. Then we will go to the Els Guiamets reservoir, to relax in a kayak, a skateboard or a fishing boat provided by the Servikayak Nature Center. And we will end the day with some golfing time at the Bonmont Club, located in Montroig del Camp.

We hope you enjoy your visit :)
