Due to the exceptional situation caused by Covid-19, at Golden Hotels & Experiences we have established and implemented an action plan to offer our clients the best possible guarantees of safety and hygiene during their stay. We thank you for your collaboration for the good fulfillment of all these measures.

Free cancellation policy

We understand that it is difficult to commit to travel plans at this moment, this is how we can help you:

Golden Hotels offers a free cancellation policy for the next reservation, with no commitments. Book now without worries. You can cancel at any time up to two days before your arrival at no cost. In the event that the reservation has been affected by the extraordinary closure period, we offer you the possibility of changing the reservation date for any of our hotels, for a period of one year, from the date of your original reservation.

Protocols adopted for hotels

Golden Hotels in collaboration with Preverisk Group (an international consultancy specialized in advising, auditing and training in health and safety in the hotel industry) have created a set of protocols to guarantee as much as possible the necessary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The safety of our clients and staff continues to be our top priority and in this regard we have taken additional measures that are detailed below:


Strict compliance with WHO recommendations and state and regional regulations in reference to Covid-19
• Rigorous monitoring of our HACCP, PRL, ECA, DDD, PCI, Legionella systems, with documented monthly audits carried out by the company JD Assesors and led by Doctor Jordi Dellunde, expert in microbiology and Environmental Biotechnology and research collaborator at the university from Barcelona.
• 24/7 medical service available with the main mutual companies and direct communication with the health authorities in the event of symptoms occurring in any client or worker.
• Security / isolation rooms enabled in the hotel itself.
• Staff training is an essential part of these protocols, as it ensures that all employees know what they need to know to act appropriately on each task they undertake in their role. As main measures we would highlight:

  • Strengthening of the cleaning staff for more intensive sanitation of the rooms and increasing the frequency of disinfection in the hotel's common areas, especially surfaces in the lobby, elevators, counters, door handles, public toilets, etc. .).

  • We have provided our workers with personal protective equipment.

  • Safe access with sanitary controls to suppliers and employees to guarantee that they only attend their workplace if they are in good health.

  • We are using cleaning products recommended specifically for disinfecting COVID 19.

  • We have made hand sanitizer available to customers in common areas for their use.

  • We have extended restaurant service hours to guarantee capacity and safety distances between customers.

  • We will recommend the use of masks to our clients when the recommended safety distances cannot be respected. The hotel will offer masks to our clients at cost price.


Protocols adopted in the different areas of the hotel

Some services will be adapted to the new normality to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of our clients:


Rooms
To guarantee the best possible hygiene in the rooms, it is possible that certain services such as amenities, coffee makers, water heaters, etc., are reduced. However, any request or service that our clients request we will try to offer it while preserving all the security required in our protocols.

Restaurants
We are committed to maintaining our buffets, because they are one of the services most valued by our clients, implementing security measures such as the use of hand sanitizers, restricting access of children to avoid incorrect manipulations, enhance showcooking and prioritize individual portions both at meals and at breakfasts where we will try to maintain all our usual offer, signalized circulation to be able to keep distance, stricter gripper changing routine, single touch in beverage dispensers with continuous disinfection, tablecloths washed at more than 60º, ... everything you need to ensure maximum safety without sacrificing the usual gastronomy of Golden Hotels.



Pools & terraces
There will be safe distances between sun loungers and tables, the frequency of cleaning of the pool areas will be increased. Disinfectant products appropriate for the current situation will be used

Lifts
Use by family unit or, failing that, with masks will be recommended

Animation activities and shows
They will be reduced to avoid crowds. There will be aquagym and individual activities such as carbine shooting, archery, ping pong championships, etc. At night, we will have live music and environmental style shows. The gyms will be open with self-responsible cleaning.





Water parks and pools with slides
Safety distances and capacity control will be maintained.

Restricted areas
Due to the current situation, certain common areas such as the mini clubs, Spa and recreational games areas will remain closed until their safety can be guaranteed. At the same time, any common area may temporarily or totally close due to disinfection processes or adaptation to any new regulation requested by the health authorities.

Digital communication
We will promote innovation at the service of information and communication to be as close as ever without the need for contact. The use of paper decreases in restaurants, bars and rooms and we will offer, as far as possible, all the necessary information in digital media such as Totems, screens, TV channels, QRCode and a WhatsApp number to communicate with reception.


According to administrative resolution SLT / 2073/202 of the Health Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya, smoking is prohibited in the common outside areas of the hotel.
